I found weightlifting through CrossFit and became a coach first, then began to compete, then referee at the National level. I would like to use my position on the board to expose youth in TN and KY to the sport of weightlifting. My long term goal is to develop weightlifting as a High School sport in TN.

Started lifting through CrossFit Nashville when it was just a handful of friends working out in the backyard.

Lifted with Strength Works out of St. Louis, MO before joining Nashville Weightlifitng Club and the Fort-Nash team.

Competed in Senior Nationals 2x and Masters Pan Ams in the height of my career.

I stuck around for the love of the sport. Happy to be on the board and to help grow our sport.

Started lifting in 2014 in Chicago under Sayre Park. Moved to Nashville in 2016 and started to lift under Osman in 2017 at Nashville Weightlifting. Had an opportunity to compete in Puerto Rico in 2021 with Nashville Weightlifting and got bronze in Clean and Jerk. Competed in my first AO Finals in Willimington 2023 109+ class.
